Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keaton Hayden (ranked 25214 p4p, 24190 weight class) and Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 508 p4p, 504 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Keaton Hayden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krzysztof Zakrzewski!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayden fails with the takedown.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Zakrzewski.
Hayden gets caught flat footed, as Zakrzewski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Hayden is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Zakrzewski stalks Hayden and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hayden's face. Hayden staggers backwards, shaken.

Hayden misses with a takedown attempt - Zakrzewski sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Zakrzewski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hayden tries to avoid it but Zakrzewski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hayden to the ground. Hayden escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

As Zakrzewski tries to get set, Hayden tries to push him back and clinch up but Zakrzewski manages to avoid the attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Zakrzewski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hayden pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hayden fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zakrzewski, pushing him back against the cage.
Hayden creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Zakrzewski's defenses.
Hayden pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Zakrzewski rushes Hayden and presses him up against the cage.
Hayden gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Zakrzewski regains guard.
Hayden is looking to stand up but Zakrzewski won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zakrzewski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hayden is not content to let Zakrzewski control the position.
Zakrzewski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hayden is just riding it out for now. Zakrzewski eventually gives up the hold.

Hayden leaves Zakrzewski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zakrzewski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hayden manages to get himself to full guard.
Hayden wants to stand and escape but Zakrzewski is having none of it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hayden is working hard here to advance position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Keaton Hayden.
I think Zakrzewski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
