The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walczak connects with a body shot that sends Dukes's belly button to the back.
Dukes misses with a straight left.
Walczak now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Walczak closes the distance and pushes Dukes back into the ropes.
Dukes is trying to push Walczak away but Walczak has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

Walczak drops Dukes onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Dukes is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I was talking to Dukes's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
