The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pingus clinches up with Hammond and pushes him back against the ropes.
Pingus tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hammond's elbow.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Pingus lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hammond or not.
Hammond is trying to pull guard but Pingus turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch.
Hammond tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pingus just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Pingus can't find room to land a body shot as Hammond controls the action.
Pingus lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hammond or not.
Pingus pushes Hammond back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.

Pingus wants to pass the guard but Hammond is keeping the position.

Hammond has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pingus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Oh but Hammond is tightening it up a little... Pingus has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Pingus reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Pingus taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hammond!
