Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DonQuavous Sharwell (ranked 4273 p4p, 4601 weight class) and Augusto Jufre (ranked 431 p4p, 450 weight class). Jufre has chosen Latinoamérica as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharwell forces Jufre back against the ropes and clinches.
Sharwell jumps guard but Jufre stands there with Sharwell around his waist. Sharwell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jufre jumps into guard, dragging Sharwell to the mat.

We've been informed that Jufre has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Jufre dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sharwell. That did some damage!

and Jufre counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jufre drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sharwell manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jufre has Sharwell in his guard.
