Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chhe Chhawl (ranked 3006 p4p, 4048 weight class) and Edward Richardson (ranked 346 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chhe Chhawl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Edward Richardson!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chhawl throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Richardson's waist but Richardson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chhawl off to one side.
Richardson tries to clinch but Chhawl is having none of it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Richardson is defended easily by Chhawl.
Chhawl tries to counter by clinching up but Richardson breaks away and moves out of range.
Chhawl stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chhawl wants it to stay on the feet.
Chhawl throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Richardson was covering up waiting for the punch and Chhawl finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Chhawl postures up in Richardson's guard and throws a big left but Richardson blocks it.

Richardson tries to clinch there but Chhawl circles away.
Chhawl changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Richardson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Richardson bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Chhawl shoots in for a takedown but Richardson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Chhe Chhawl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chhawl shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Chhawl showed some decent athleticism there.

Chhawl shoots in looking for a takedown. Richardson tries to sprawl out of it but Chhawl keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Richardson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Chhawl seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Richardson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Richardson is trying to control but can't.

Chhawl is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Richardson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chhawl.
Chhawl is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Richardson has managed to free his arm - good work.
Richardson wants to control but Chhawl passes into side.

Chhawl lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Richardson tries to bench press Chhawl off him but Chhawl keeps the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Chhawl lands a strong strike to the head of Richardson. That's dazed him! Chhawl looking to finish here. Richardson is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Chhawl lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
