Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jace Stephenson (ranked 4026 p4p, 24976 weight class) and Knock Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jace Stephenson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Knock Out! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stephenson fails with the takedown. Stephenson shoots for a double leg takedown but Out sprawls well. He's pushed Stephenson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Stephenson tries for a takedown but Out sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jace Stephenson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Out displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stephenson. Despite the aggression on Out's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Stephenson closes the distance looking to clinch so Out counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stephenson trying to keep a closed guard but Out is proving a slippery customer.
Out is working Stephenson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Out scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Stephenson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Out on the ground. Out decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Stephenson, up you get! Stephenson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Out takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Out escapes and gets back to his feet. Stephenson fails with the takedown and Out counters with a lovely straight right hand! Stephenson dives in for a single leg takedown but Out sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Out unleashes a big counter combination but Stephenson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. The referee calls for Stephenson to work.
Stephenson is defending well against a takedown attempt. Stephenson tries to pull guard but Out holds him up against the cage and eventually Stephenson drops back down to his feet.

Out blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Stephenson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Out working aggressively here.

Out has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Out connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Stephenson some visible discomfort.
Stephenson is looking to reverse the position. Out landing strikes. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Knock Out dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Stephenson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Out paws at him with a jab and circles away. Out has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Stephenson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Out as he avoids it easily. Stephenson throws a sloppy head kick and Out moves out of range easily. Out is looking for the big counter here. Jace Stephenson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stephenson. Stephenson tries to clinch but Out is having none of it. Out is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Stephenson with a body shot. Out jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stephenson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Out avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Out keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stephenson's efforts to push away. Out swings wildly with an uppercut but Stephenson uses good head movement to avoid it. Stephenson wants a takedown but no success here.

Out lands an uppercut. Out wants the takedown. Stephenson is fighting it off but Out persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Stephenson's guard against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Out thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Out is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Out engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Out is working Stephenson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Out got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stephenson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Out has managed to get both his arms back between Stephenson's legs - danger averted. Out engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Out cracks Stephenson with a solid left hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Out lands a couple of elbows. Out controlling from the top position. Out pushing down on Stephenson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Out passes to side control. Out is putting a hurting on Stephenson here, landing some big shots from side control. Out working the body and head with strikes.
Stephenson is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Out working the ground and pound from side control. Oh Stephenson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The referee asks Out politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Out prefers to stall for the moment though. Out has hold of Stephenson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Stephenson seems comfortable defending it but Out has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Stephenson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Stephenson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Out couldn't care less - he's delighted!
