The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hassan with a nice cross.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hassan wants to control from the top but Mmm keeps moving.
Mmm can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hassan controls the pace.
Hassan wants to pass the guard but Mmm is keeping the position.

Hassan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mmm's guard.

Hassan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mmm is just riding it out for now. Hassan eventually gives up the hold.
