Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eerik Akseli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Inauktu Shubuzaia!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shubuzaia fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Akseli manages to avoid it.
Akseli seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Shubuzaia slips a jab and a cross from Akseli.
Shubuzaia checks the leg kick.
Shubuzaia gets tackled into the cage by Akseli. Akseli maintains the clinch.
Shubuzaia is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Akseli escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shubuzaia closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Akseli did well to prevent Shubuzaia getting side control.
Akseli knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shubuzaia on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shubuzaia wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Akseli is trying to control but can't.
Akseli pushes Shubuzaia off looking to stand but Shubuzaia dives back in and keeps control.
Shubuzaia content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Shubuzaia keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Akseli shoots in for a takedown but Shubuzaia shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
As Akseli backs off Shubuzaia throws a huge counter combo but Akseli manages to avoid it all.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eerik Akseli. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Shubuzaia closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Akseli to the mat! Akseli manages to get full guard.

Shubuzaia would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Shubuzaia seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Shubuzaia has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Akseli is proving hard to escape from.
Shubuzaia throws a big right hand that misses.

Shubuzaia advances position into side control!
Akseli wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Shubuzaia has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Akseli's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Akseli is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Shubuzaia!
