The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Miyao stuffs the takedown attempt from Cardosi. Cardosi gets slowly back to his feet. Cardosi is looking to clinch but Miyao is avoiding it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cardosi is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Miyao moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Cardosi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miyao swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cardosi wants to control from the top but Miyao keeps moving.
