The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Filerup is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Caceres pushes down on Filerup's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Filerup trying to hold on to Caceres's head to control him but Caceres postures up.
Caceres tries to pass to full mount but Filerup defends it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Filerup is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Caceres is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Filerup to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Caceres stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Filerup swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Caceres got a little sloppy there for a moment and Filerup has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Caceres has managed to get both his arms back between Filerup's legs - danger averted.

Filerup working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Caceres doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Caceres manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Caceres will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Caceres stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Filerup swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Caceres wants to free his trapped foot but Filerup is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Filerup is looking for a sweep. Caceres is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caceres is working for a kimura but Filerup is defending it quite comfortably.

Caceres is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Filerup is just riding it out for now. Caceres eventually gives up the hold.

Filerup is trying to control Caceres's posture. Caceres takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Filerup!
