Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Midweight Try (ranked 25059 p4p, 3129 weight class) and Samir Reid (ranked 507 p4p, 343 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Midweight Try! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Samir Reid! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Try throws a right and a left that Reid avoids nicely. Reid on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Reid has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Try throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Reid counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Reid misses with a few strikes there.
Try rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Reid counters with a straight right hand. Try misses the body punch letting Reid counter with a right hand. Try takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

and Reid counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Try off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Reid follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Try was out before he hit the floor.
