The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aliyev connects with a body shot.
Lilja throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Lilja tries to clinch up but Aliyev circles away and keeps his distance.
Aliyev lands a glancing blow to the side of Lilja's head.
Aliyev throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lilja sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Aliyev cracks a nice hook into Lilja's ribs.
Aliyev drops Lilja with a left and a right! Oh, Lilja is hurt - Aliyev dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Wolfgang Lilja has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Aliyev in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Aliyev has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Lilja is breathing heavily.
Aliyev cracks Lilja with a right hand to the side of the head.
Lilja ducks into an uppercut from Aliyev and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
