Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Montegriffo (ranked 23947 p4p, 4501 weight class) and Zavier Powe (ranked 550 p4p, 484 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Alexander Montegriffo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Alexander Montegriffo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zavier Powe!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montegriffo swings widly with a right hand
and Powe counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Powe drops his hands momentarily and Montegriffo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It appears Montegriffo was looking to counter with a kick there.
Powe avoids a punch combination nicely.

Both fighters circling a little - Montegriffo finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Montegriffo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Montegriffo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Powe under the eye.

Montegriffo throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Powe crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Alexander Montegriffo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
