Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Lawrence (ranked 2768 p4p, 3083 weight class) and Soul Taker (ranked 344 p4p, 372 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Lawrence!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Soul Taker!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Taker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Taker throws a right and a left that Lawrence avoids nicely.
It looked like Lawrence wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Nice uppercut lands for Lawrence. That snapped Taker's head back.
A shot to the body from Taker misses
and Taker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lawrence lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Taker throws a right hand that misses
and Lawrence connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lawrence scores with a decent looking hook.
Taker has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Taker there as he acknowledges the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lawrence lands with a nice body punch.
Taker throws out a loose jab but Lawrence uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lawrence appears to be looking for a big counter.
Taker fails to land with a series of punches.
An attempted straight right counter from Lawrence misses the target.
Lawrence dips to his left and cracks Taker with an uppercut!
Lawrence scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Taker gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Taker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lawrence sizes up Taker with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Taker tries to clinch up.
Lawrence misses with a shot to the body
and Taker counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lawrence utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Taker stands and throws Lawrence's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Taker is chipping away with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lawrence dodges the ground and pound from Taker.
Taker cracks Lawrence with a big right hand but Lawrence just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lawrence is not content to let Taker control the position.
Taker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Taker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Taker has hold of Lawrence's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Lawrence tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Taker cranks the arm and Lawrence screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lawrence, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Soul Taker!
