Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeong Yeong Lee (ranked 2484 p4p, 2568 weight class) and Damien Karras (ranked 242 p4p, 252 weight class). Karras has chosen Blinded by the Light as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeong Yeong Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Damien Karras! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee thows a left - swing and a miss! Lee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lee throws a lazy right hand but Karras sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Lee sets himself, and Karras steps forward looking for the clinch! Lee avoids it this time. Lee scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Karras pushes Lee up against the cage in a clinch. Lee goes for a takedown in the clinch but Karras prevents it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Karras creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Lee is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Karras looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Lee can't break the clinch.
Lee is trying to break the clinch but Karras has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee is trying to stall.
Lee is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Karras is defending well. A nice left hand lands by Karras.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeong Yeong Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Karras lands on the inside with an uppercut. Karras prevents Lee from breaking the clinch. Karras lands with a left to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karras is leaning against Lee and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Karras has Lee pressed against the cage, preventing Lee from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Karras pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Karras throws a body shot but no joy. Karras moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off. Karras fails in his attempt to clinch. Karras thuds a left hand into Lee's body. Lee takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lee loads up on a big right hand but Karras slips the punch. Lee fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Karras thuds a left hand into Lee's body. Karras tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lee is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Karras lands a slapping body shot.
Lee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Karras.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karras scores with the left hand. Lee knows he should have avoided that one. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lee gets tackled into the cage by Karras. Karras maintains the clinch. Karras scores with a shoulder strike. Lee doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Karras keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lee's efforts to push away. A short uppercut from Karras. Lee is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A short right from Karras. Karras lands on the inside with an uppercut. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lee. Karras lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Karras has Lee pressed against the cage, preventing Lee from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Karras gets through Lee's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Karras pushes Lee back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Lee is breathing heavily. Karras working some nice short punches in the clinch. Lee definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Karras digs a right hand into Lee's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lee's gas tank. A right handed body shot lands from Karras.
Karras lands a left hand.
Karras lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Lee.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karras lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Lee is trying to push Karras away but Karras has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Karras lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lee backwards. A nice right hand lands inside from Karras. Karras lands with a left to the head. Karras lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Karras blocks an uppercut.
Karras blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Karras stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Karras lands a body shot in the clinch.
A short right from Karras on the inside. Karras scores with an uppercut up the middle. Karras lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Karras lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Karras lands with a short head shot on the inside. Karras lands a body shot. Karras gets through Lee's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Karras breaks the clinch.
Karras feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lees jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Karras cracks Lee with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Karras has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lee to stand back up!
Lee is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crack! Karras connects with the perfect overhand right and Lee falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Karras!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Damien Karras! A relieved looking Damien Karras thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
