The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Som, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Von Meyer lands a head shot.
Som looks to throw the jab but Von Meyer is out of range.
Som falls off balance throwing a combination
and Von Meyer counters with a crisp one two that drops Som! Von Meyer thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Som to his feet! Som is in big trouble!
Som is rocked!
Von Meyer measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Som! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Max Von Meyer!
A relieved looking Max Von Meyer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
