Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nam Ram (ranked 2832 p4p, 4876 weight class) and JJ King (ranked 167 p4p, 233 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nam Ram!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, JJ King!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Nice defenses there by Ram.
Ram appears to be looking for a big counter.
King looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
An attempted straight right counter from Ram misses the target.
King throws a sloppy body shot
and Ram counters with a left and a right that stings King.
King misses with a series of wild punches.
Ram throwing a counter right hand but King manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts King, as that shot connected.
That's one minute gone in the round.
King fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ram is looking for a counter combo.
Ram slips under a jab.
Ram definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
King misses with a body punch
and Ram counters with a series of strikes. King will be more careful next time no doubt.
King dives in and grabs Ram's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ram pushes down on King's head and hops out.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ram slips under a jab.
King rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ram moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
King throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ram comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! King stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Ram is on him like rabid pit bull! King slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nam Ram!
