Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenga Assura (ranked 4143 p4p, 4782 weight class) and Agustin Greene (ranked 433 p4p, 477 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Kenga Assura has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kenga Assura seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Greene.
Greene throws a shot to the body.
Assura throws a looping overhand right but Greene ducks down to avoid it.
Greene has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Assura finds it's way round the side to connect with Greene's head.
Greene ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Greene scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Assura loads up on a big right hand but Greene slips the punch.

Greene has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Kenga Assura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Assura lands a big right hand that sends Greene crashing to the mat! Assura stays standing though and waves Greene back to his feet!
Greene is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Assura darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Greene's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Assura before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kenga Assura!
