Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Biff Bagwell (ranked 3717 p4p, 3864 weight class) and Boby Marreta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boby Marreta told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Biff Bagwell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boby Marreta!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marreta shoots in but no luck this time.
Marreta tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bagwell counters with a straight right hand.
Bagwell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Marreta tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bagwell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Marreta shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bagwell darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Marreta shoots in but no luck this time.
Biff Bagwell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boby Marreta.
Bagwell keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Marreta shoots in for a double leg but Bagwell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bagwell fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bagwell keeps Marreta at a distance using the push kick.

Oooooh!!! Bagwell has knocked Marreta down with a huge combo! Bagwell steps away and waves a wobbly Marreta back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Boby Marreta has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bagwell moves out of range of the body kick from Marreta.
Bagwell fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Marreta.
Bagwell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Marreta misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Bagwell lands a left and a right that send Marreta crashing to the mat, dazed. Bagwell thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bagwell tries to bum rush Marreta with a series of wild strikes but Marreta uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Biff Bagwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marreta tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Marreta tries to clinch up but Bagwell circles away and keeps his distance.
Bagwell works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bagwell connects with a nice cross there... Marreta is looking wobbly and Bagwell recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Marreta to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Bagwell jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Biff Bagwell!
A relieved looking Biff Bagwell thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
