Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 23475 p4p, 23478 weight class) and Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 53 - 51 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 32 - 76 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion goes for a double leg but Amiga avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Amiga continues to drive forward. Amiga is looking to counter with head kicks. Amiga gets a takedown into half guard. Salvacion is trying to maintain the position but Amiga is very close to passing his half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga controlling the action here. Salvacion is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Salvacion tries to get to full guard but Amiga has control of the leg. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Salvacion preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Salvacion shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Amiga counters with a left to the body. Salvacion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Amiga counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Kugus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clifford Val Salvacion.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Amiga as he jumps to the side. Salvacion tries to sprawl but Amiga drives through with a takedown into half guard. Amiga prevents Salvacion from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Amiga stalling. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga blocks the strikes from Salvacion.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salvacion wants to control but Amiga is keeping busy.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kugus Amiga dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Amiga is trying hard to land a takedown here. Salvacion sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Salvacion tries a quick counter leg kick but Amiga is wise to it. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Salvacion. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Salvacion shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Salvacion showed some decent athleticism there. Amiga keeping hold of Salvacion's head, controlling as best he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Salvacion tries to stand and escape but Amiga is controlling the position. Amiga controlling the position well. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Amiga has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Salvacion is working away from the top position though.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Amiga is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Salvacion can do to turn this around? Salvacion stuffs the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Salvacion sprawls well. Salvacion wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Amiga gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kugus Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him. Amiga shoots for a double leg takedown but Salvacion sprawls well. He's pushed Amiga's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Amiga doesn't succeed with the takedown and Salvacion counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Amiga stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Amiga wants it to stay on the feet. Salvacion shoots in and bounces Amiga off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kugus Amiga overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion with a flurry of punches that miss. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Clifford Val Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Amiga throws a sloppy head kick and Salvacion moves out of range easily. Amiga fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Amiga shoots in looking for a takedown but Salvacion manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Amiga's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Salvacion with the counter takedown but Amiga avoids it easily. Amiga defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Salvacion. It appears Amiga was looking to counter with a kick there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Salvacion steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Amiga. Salvacion counters with a body kick. Salvacion shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Amiga manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga is trying to control the position but Salvacion postures up. Salvacion is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion wants to pass the guard but Amiga is keeping the position. Amiga preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Salvacion showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Salvacion prevents Amiga from standing back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Clifford Val Salvacion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Salvacion has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
