Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pittman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Oliveira sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Grover Pittman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oliveira on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Pittman looks to land a right hand but Oliveira moved out of range.
Oliveira drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Pittman defends it well.
Oliveira walks into a left hand.
Oliveira looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Oliveira moves forwards but Pittman connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A punch lands to the side of Oliveira 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Pittman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Oliveira to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pittman pulls Oliveira in to control the position.
Oliveira trying to control the position from guard on top but Pittman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pittman has Oliveira pulled in close to control his posture.

Pittman has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Pittman is adopting a defensive guard.
Pittman seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Oliveira tries to free his leg and advance position but Pittman is retaining full guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Oliveira walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pittman as he jumps to the side.
Oliveira drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Oliveira fails to land the takedown.
Pittman misses with a straight left.
Oliveira with the counter takedown but Pittman avoids it easily.
Pittman scores with a punch to the head.
Pittman is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Oliveira's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pittman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Oliveira scrambles back to his feet.
Nice body punch from Pittman.
Pittman is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Pittman getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Oliveira takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Pittman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Oliveira is rocked!
Pittman jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pittman connects with a body shot.
Pittman misses with a wild body shot.
Oliveira feints the counter takedown.
Pittman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Oliveira on the side of the head.
Pittman throws an overhand right that lands on Oliveira's shoulder, as Oliveira tries to avoid the shot.
Oliveira tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Pittman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Pittman throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Oliveira misses with a takedown
and Pittman counters with a stiff right hand.
Grover Pittman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Oliveira.
Oliveira walks into a straight right hand from Pittman.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pittman lands a big head kick that sends Oliveira tumbling to the mat! Pittman takes a step backwards and waves Oliveira back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oliveira is still on wobbly legs! Can Pittman finish him?

Pittman ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Oliveira closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Pittman lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Oliveira crumples to the floor! Pittman milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Grover Pittman!
Grover Pittman decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
In defeat, Charles Oliveira stepped up to the mic, saying 'It is what it is'.
