The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Striker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Striker wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position.
Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Striker's guard.

Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Striker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gracie stands and throws Striker's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Gracie is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Striker will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Striker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though.
Gracie seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Striker tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.

Gracie passes the guard and advances to mount!

Gracie prevents Striker from getting the reversal.
Gracie controlling from mount.
Gracie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Striker tries to reverse the position but Gracie maintains control.

Striker is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Gracie sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Striker gets back to half guard.
Striker is concentrating on defense, preventing Gracie from advancing position.
Striker won't allow Gracie to pass to mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Striker is trying to maintain the position but Gracie is very close to passing his half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Gracie takes the fight on points by 14 to 2.
