Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Mattila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Hernandez.
Hernandez tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hernandez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mattila's waist but Mattila gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hernandez off to one side.

Hernandez has had enough of the clinch but Mattila keeps him there for the moment.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jose Hernandez.
Well Mattila has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
