Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 44 - 62 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 36 - 69 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Bitok shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Buktot as he jumps to the side. Buktot keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Buktot quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot is looking to work some ground and pound but Bitok has wrist control. Bitok can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Buktot controls the pace. Bitok has Buktot pulled in close to control his posture. Bitok controls Buktot momentarily but Buktot frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bitok is pulling down on Buktot's head to control his posture. Buktot showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buktot shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bitok's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot controlling from the top position. Buktot wants to control from the top but Bitok keeps moving. Bitok wants to stand and escape but Buktot is having none of it. Bitok looking for a sweep. Not yet Bitok, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bitok being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dawindi Buktot dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Bitok has a takedown stuffed. Buktot thinks about countering with a body kick. Bitok closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Buktot's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bitok won't allow Buktot to sweep him here. Bitok sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot has his hands on Bitok's head, controlling the position. Bitok is stalling in the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bitok's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Buktot tries to land a sweep but no joy. Buktot is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bitok can do to turn this around? Bitok sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bitok throws a half hearted mid kick. Bitok shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bitok was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot trying to remain calm as Bitok controls from the top position. Buktot is looking for a sweep. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bitok wants to take a breather but Buktot manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Bitok. Bitok looking to sit in guard and control but Buktot gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bitok tries to land a sweep but no joy. Buktot looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Buktot cracks Bitok with a solid left hand. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Kulata Bitok will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Buktot gets a takedown into half guard. Bitok is looking for a sweep. Buktot is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bitok trying to control but Buktot postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bitok is staying active underneath Buktot, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Buktot is thwarting Bitok's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bitok keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Buktot is controlling the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bitok keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bitok follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Buktot shoots in and drives through. Bitok sprawls well. A countering left hand to the body from Bitok misses. Bitok fails to land the takedown. It appears Buktot was looking to counter with a kick there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bitok keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bitok is continuing to stall. Buktot is controlling the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! Dawindi Buktot showed his dominance in that final round. Well Buktot has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
