PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wolfric Moon (ranked 4641 p4p, 4014 weight class) and Jonas Artusii (ranked 434 p4p, 0 weight class). Moon comes into the arena with Bilmuri - Talkin' 2 UR Ghost blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon lands a nice hook to Artusii's body. Artusii takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Artusii avoids the body shot from Moon.
No joy there for Artusii, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Moon pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Artusii shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Moon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Moon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Artusii is posturing up here but Moon has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Artusii tries to roll out but it's too tight and Artusii has to tap! Slick submission there by Moon!
