Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vick Falcon (ranked 3808 p4p, 4002 weight class) and Robert Bukovsky (ranked 397 p4p, 0 weight class). Falcon is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Vick Falcon has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vick Falcon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Bukovsky! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bukovsky shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Falcon pinned against the cage. Falcon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Falcon is breathing heavily. Bukovsky closes this distance looking for a takedown but Falcon circles away. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Falcon. Bukovsky is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Bukovsky closes the distance and clinches. Bukovsky displaying some good clinch control by pressing Falcon up against the cage. Bukovsky holding his opponent close, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Falcon wants to break the clinch but can't.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Robert Bukovsky. Horrible takedown attempt by Bukovsky or perhaps it was just good defense by Falcon, which made it look bad. As Bukovsky looks to move away, Falcon throws a big counter combo but Bukovsky just gets out of the way. Vick Falcon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Bukovsky. Falcon stuffs the takedown attempt from Bukovsky. Bukovsky gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Falcon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bukovsky. Falcon half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Bukovsky avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bukovsky shoots for a double leg takedown but Falcon sprawls well. He's pushed Bukovsky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bukovsky's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. We've been informed that Bukovsky has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Bukovsky throws a head punch that misses.

Bukovsky throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Falcon's waist but Falcon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bukovsky off to one side. Bukovsky throws a wild body kick that Falcon sees coming a mile off. Bukovsky will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Falcon wants to clinch up but Bukovsky keeps it at a distance. Bukovsky closes the distance and clinches. Come on Bukovsky - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Falcon is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bukovsky to keep the fight standing. Falcon blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Bukovsky struggles to land a body shot inside as Falcon controls his hands.
