The crowd seem to be enjoying Sicarius's choice of entrance music: Klendathu Drop. Adam Bogo has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bogo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sicarius manages to avoid it.
Sicarius feints the counter takedown.
Bogo moves out of range of the strikes.

A slow jab from Sicarius misses its intended target.
Bogo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sicarius.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sicarius has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sicarius goes for a double leg but Bogo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bogo continues to drive forward.

Sicarius seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bogo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
