Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jordan Ruiz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Muntun Potentat!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Potentat finds it's way through Ruiz's defenses.
It looks like Jordan Ruiz has been cut.
Potentat closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Potentat prevents Ruiz from breaking the clinch.
Ruiz tries to work over Potentat's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ruiz working hard to break the clinch.
Potentat swings wildly with an uppercut but Ruiz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Potentat lands a hook that snaps the head of Ruiz backwards.
Ruiz wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Potentat working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Ruiz tries to throw a body punch but Potentat avoids it by throwing Ruiz back against the cage.
Ruiz blocking some punches.
Ruiz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Potentat tries to clinch there but Ruiz circles away.
Potentat closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ruiz to the mat! Ruiz manages to get full guard.
Potentat is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ruiz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Potentat makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Potentat looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Potentat is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ruiz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ruiz has escaped and now he's on top!

Potentat working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ruiz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Potentat is tightening it up a little... Ruiz has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ruiz reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ruiz taps out! Nice BJJ there by Potentat!
