Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kameron Sweeney (ranked 2279 p4p, 1819 weight class) and Diego Lopez (ranked 264 p4p, 215 weight class). Sweeney comes to the cage accompanied by Eazy E - Boyz-n-the-Hood. Lopez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 2PAC - All Eyez on Me kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez lands a nice looking body shot.
Sweeney gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lopez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sweeney shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lopez as he avoids it easily.
Sweeney closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sweeney takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sweeney fails with the takedown
and Lopez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kameron Sweeney. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lopez loads up on a big right hand but Sweeney slips the punch.
Sweeney shoots in and drives through. Lopez sprawls well.
It seemed like Lopez was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Sweeney doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sweeney takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lopez has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Lopez misses with a hook. Sweeney ducked under it nicely.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sweeney or perhaps it was just good defense by Lopez, which made it look bad.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sweeney shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lopez scores with a counter punch that sends Sweeney to the canvas! Lopez smells blood - he's punishing Sweeney with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Sweeney has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

In his post fight interview, Diego Lopez started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
