The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beukeboom scores with a jab to the body.
Kiely shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kiely showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kiely is taking a breather. Beukeboom says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
