The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vagabov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Silva sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Vagabov wants to take a breather but Silva is having none of it.
Silva regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Vagabov.
Vagabov trying to move into half guard but instead Silva has managed to sweep!

Vagabov is looking to stand back up but Silva counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Vagabov.
Silva seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vagabov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Silva wants to stand but Vagabov has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Silva advances to half guard.
Silva is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Vagabov wants to control but Silva passes into side.
Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vagabov keeps working.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Vagabov wants to get back to his feet but Silva drags him back down.
Silva is looking to take a break and control but Vagabov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Vagabov tries to improve position but can't.
Silva working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Vagabov is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Vagabov is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Silva off and has taken his back!
