Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Immanuel Ali (ranked 4340 p4p, 4899 weight class) and Domantas Matulionis (ranked 364 p4p, 393 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matulionis fails with the takedown.
Ali misses with a wild body shot.
Matulionis just misses with a punch to the body.
Ali defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Matulionis.
Matulionis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
An attempted straight right counter from Ali misses the target.
Matulionis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Ali clinches up with Matulionis and pushes him back against the cage.
Ali lands a nice uppercut.
Ali lands on the inside with an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ali lands with a short shot to the head.
Ali lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Ali pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ali connects with a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Matulionis moves in looking to clinch but Ali pushes him off.

Ali rushes Matulionis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ali's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ali cracks Matulionis with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Matulionis seems to have recovered his senses.
Ali lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Ali clinches up against the cage.

Ali breaks from the clinch.
Matulionis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Matulionis tries for a takedown but Ali circles away easily
and Ali counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Matulionis thinking.
Immanuel Ali has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Domantas Matulionis.
Matulionis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Matulionis wants to clinch.
Ali closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Ali gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Ali escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Matulionis walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Ali lands a big right hand that sends Matulionis crashing to the mat! Ali stays standing though and waves Matulionis back to his feet!
Ali finds Matulionis's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Matulionis flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Ali lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Matulionis will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Immanuel Ali!
