Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Asmodeus (ranked 997 p4p, 790 weight class) and Puna Soriano (ranked 127 p4p, 103 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Soriano's choice of entrance music: Highwayman- The Highwaymen. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Puna Soriano has been cut.
Soriano throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Asmodeus cracks Soriano with an uppercut from hell and Soriano crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Asmodeus's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Asmodeus goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Asmodeus cracks Soriano with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Soriano takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

and Asmodeus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It seemed like Soriano was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Puna Soriano's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
