Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lane Prilla (ranked 848 p4p, 1752 weight class) and Dimche Rajcevski (ranked 105 p4p, 224 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lane Prilla! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dimche Rajcevski! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rajcevski clinches up against the cage. Rajcevski blocks an uppercut.
Rajcevski misses with a hook from the clinch. Prilla working aggressively here.
Rajcevski lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Prilla tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Rajcevski throws a head punch that misses. Rajcevski pulls guard effortlessly. Prilla is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Rajcevski had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Prilla defends it easily. Rajcevski keeping moving, preventing Prilla from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rajcevski working for a triangle but Prilla defends it easily.
Rajcevski has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Prilla is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rajcevski.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prilla controlling the position. Rajcevski gets back to half guard. Rajcevski trying to control but Prilla postures up.
Prilla wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rajcevski keeps working. Prilla is taking a breather. Rajcevski says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rajcevski looking for subs from the bottom but Prilla mounts him! Rajcevski is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Rajcevski is squirming around, avoiding Prilla's attempts to control the action. Rajcevski just holding on. Prilla trying to control but Rajcevski is having none of it. Prilla content just to control the position here.

Lane Prilla dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Prilla thows a left - swing and a miss! Dimche Rajcevski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A left and a right from Prilla both land. Nice combination. Rajcevski shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Prilla sprawls well. Prilla wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rajcevski gets slowly back to his feet. A little feinted left hand from Prilla on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Prilla slaps away a takedown attempt from Rajcevski, before circling back to the center of the mat. Rajcevski tries for a takedown but Prilla circles away easily and Prilla counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Lane Prilla has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dimche Rajcevski. Rajcevski with a lazy takedown attempt and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Rajcevski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Prilla sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prilla misses with a looping right. Rajcevski wants to counter with a clinch but Prilla pushes him away. Rajcevski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Prilla was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. A big right from Prilla misses. Rajcevski moves away from the strike by Prilla. Rajcevski tries for a takedown but Prilla circles away easily and Prilla counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prilla slaps away a takedown attempt from Rajcevski, before circling back to the center of the mat. Rajcevski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rajcevski lands in his opponent's guard. Rajcevski trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Prilla is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rajcevski drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Prilla dives on top into guard. Prilla passes Rajcevski's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prilla prevents Rajcevski from improving his position. Rajcevski actively working from the bottom here. Rajcevski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Prilla pulls his head out easily. Prilla stands up from half guard. Rajcevski slips under a jab from Prilla. Lane Prilla is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rajcevski feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. This has been an exciting period of action! Rajcevski trying to control but Prilla is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prilla manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rajcevski manages to get himself to full guard.
Rajcevski looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Prilla has picked Rajcevski up and slammed him! Rajcevski can't keep hold of the triangle and Prilla manages to pass to side control! Rajcevski is looking to regain half guard here but Prilla keeps moving and retains side control. Rajcevski prevents Prilla from improving position. Rajcevski tries to improve position but can't. Prilla controlling the position from side mount. Prilla is looking to take a break and control but Rajcevski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rajcevski trying to control but Prilla flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Will Prilla go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Prilla really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Rajcevski. Lane Prilla overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rajcevski trying to control but not successfully. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Lane Prilla dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! Prilla swings for the body but Rajcevski moves out of range.
Rajcevski is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rajcevski ducks under a wild hook from Prilla. Rajcevski with the counter takedown but Prilla avoids it easily. Prilla lands a glancing blow to the side of Rajcevski's head. Prilla lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rajcevski's sensitive parts. Rajcevski uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Prilla. Prilla throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rajcevski sees it coming and avoids it easily. Prilla looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Prilla stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Prilla wants it to stay on the feet. Prilla gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Prilla keeping moving, preventing Rajcevski from controlling successfully. Prilla lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rajcevski can't keep his opponent in guard - Prilla advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Prilla stalling away here and it's allowed Rajcevski to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Rajcevski won't allow Prilla to pass to mount. Prilla passes to side control. Dimche Rajcevski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The ground and pound from Prilla seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Prilla gets to mount! Rajcevski was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Rajcevski is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Prilla controlling the pace for now. Rajcevski wants to control but Prilla is having none of it. Prilla trying to control but he's not successful this time. Rajcevski is desperately trying to improve his position but Prilla has a good base and remains in mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rajcevski sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Lane Prilla is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rajcevski misses with some strikes from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Lane Prilla showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Prilla, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
