The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honda wants to clinch up but Makio keeps it at a distance.

Honda pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Makio should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

and Makio counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Honda is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Kanetake Makio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Honda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Makio lands a nice looking kick to the body. Honda takes a step back to recover.

Honda breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Honda swings and misses with a hook to the body.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Honda does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Makio is trying to force a seperation but Honda has the dominant position.

Honda breaks from the clinch.
Honda moves in looking to clinch but Makio pushes him off.

Kanetake Makio comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Makio has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
