Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Yamato Kimura (ranked 2879 p4p, 2880 weight class) and Shunosuke Okubo (ranked 113 p4p, 110 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shunosuke Okubo!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okubo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Shunosuke Okubo has been cut.

and Kimura counters with a one-two to the body.

Okubo throws the kick towards the body but Kimura avoids it.

Okubo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kimura, pushing him back against the ropes.

and Kimura counters with a series of strikes. Okubo will be more careful next time no doubt.
Okubo moves in looking to clinch but Kimura pushes him off.
Kimura swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kimura could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Okubo is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kimura is keeping busy.

Kimura blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close second round but I would say that Yamato Kimura will probably get the nod.
