Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Seksan Kaewsamrit (ranked 3920 p4p, 25135 weight class) and Cucey Ramirez (ranked 387 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Seksan Kaewsamrit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cucey Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaewsamrit gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Ramirez holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kaewsamrit is looking to break free of the clinch but Ramirez has double underhooks.

Ramirez pulls guard effortlessly.

Ramirez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ramirez pulls Kaewsamrit in close to prevent any damage.
Kaewsamrit trying to control but Ramirez is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaewsamrit loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Ramirez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kaewsamrit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ramirez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ramirez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kaewsamrit is one step ahead there.
Ramirez is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ramirez is still trying to improve position.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kaewsamrit enables Ramirez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kaewsamrit manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Ramirez looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Ramirez fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Ramirez shoots in and bounces Kaewsamrit off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Ramirez decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kaewsamrit, up you get!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Kaewsamrit is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Ramirez is keeping busy.
Ramirez lands with a right to the head.
Kaewsamrit is trying to force a seperation but Ramirez has the dominant position.
Kaewsamrit wants to break the clinch but can't.

Ramirez manages to break the clinch.
Kaewsamrit tries to clinch but Ramirez moves away
and Ramirez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kaewsamrit connects with a single shot there.

Ramirez shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ramirez perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Kaewsamrit is defending against the submission attempts here by Ramirez.
Ramirez moves nicely into side control.
Ramirez is staying tight to Kaewsamrit's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Ramirez's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Ramirez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kaewsamrit, who protects the arm well.
Ramirez has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kaewsamrit is trying to get back to half guard.

Ramirez controls the position.

You can see the frustration on Kaewsamrit's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Cucey Ramirez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Kaewsamrit with a poor takedown

and Ramirez counters by moving into the clinch.

Ramirez pulls Kaewsamrit into guard.
Kaewsamrit won't allow Ramirez to sweep him here.
Ramirez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kaewsamrit's guard.

Ramirez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Ramirez passes Kaewsamrit's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Kaewsamrit tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Ramirez presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ramirez has hold of Kaewsamrit's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kaewsamrit manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Cucey Ramirez has got the better of the ground game so far.

Ramirez is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kaewsamrit to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kaewsamrit shrugs it off.

Cucey Ramirez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ramirez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
