The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slammer closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Watson's guard.

Slammer passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Watson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Watson tries to get out of the position.
Slammer just content to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Watson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Slammer connects with a decent elbow.
Watson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slammer on the ground.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Watson is trying to control Slammer's posture but Slammer avoids it.

Slammer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Watson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Slammer decides to stand back up.

Slammer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Watson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Watson is breathing heavily.

Slammer in side control lands a decent elbow.
Slammer just content to control the position.

Slammer is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Watson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Slammer gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Watson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Slammer lets go of the hold and Watson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
