And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Blaine Drimitri!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drimitri misses the jab.
As Drimitri tries to get set, Don tries to push him back and clinch up but Drimitri manages to avoid the attempt.
Don throws a poor cross that misses
and Drimitri connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Don misses with a double jab
and Drimitri counters with a crisp right hand that drops Don! Drimitri lets Don back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Don is rocked!
Drimitri lands an uppercut, right on the button! Don tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Blaine Drimitri!
Blaine Drimitri decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
