And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 29 wins and 20 losses; Trip Fontaine!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Everett moves into range and clinches up with Fontaine.
Everett is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Fontaine can't fight it off and eventually Everett manages to take the fight to the floor. Fontaine looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Everett (2) vs (0) Fontaine
Fontaine is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Everett is aware though and is defending well.
Everett works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Fontaine is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Everett pulls his head out easily.

Fontaine is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Fontaine is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Everett is defending well though. Fontaine let's go of the attempt for now.

Fontaine has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Everett doesn't defend quickly enough and Fontaine has managed to lock this one up! Can Everett escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Fontaine on a fantastic submission victory.
