The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Strdoza gets tackled into the ropes by Wiener. Wiener maintains the clinch.

Wiener has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Strdoza uses from the top position.

Wiener escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Strdoza gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wiener tries to hold on but Strdoza pushes him away.

Strdoza wants to finish this one by submission but Wiener is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Strdoza.
Wiener is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wiener defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Strdoza.
Wiener is squirming around, avoiding Strdoza's attempts to control the action.

Strdoza with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Wiener really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Strdoza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wiener wants to control but Strdoza is having none of it.

Strdoza moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Wiener has worked his arm free - good work by Wiener!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Wiener is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Wiener keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Strdoza is working for a submission of some sort.

I really don't envy Wiener right now.

Strdoza is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Strdoza is working for a rear naked choke. Wiener is not defending it well and Strdoza has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Wiener refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Wiener's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
