Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Zombo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Buzz Kill!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kill throws a head kick that misses.
A head kick by Kill misses
and Zombo counters with a three punch combo that has Kill backing up. Kill nods at Zombo to acknowledge the strikes.
Zombo getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Zombo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Zombo lands with a good body shot.
Zombo catches Kill with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kill fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
An attempted straight right counter from Zombo misses the target.
Kill tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zombo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kill tries to bum rush Zombo with a series of wild strikes but Zombo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kill moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kill tries a head kick but it misses.
Kill throws a lazy head kick
and Zombo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kill is rocked!
Zombo cracks Kill with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Zombo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kill to stand back up!
Kill is still on wobbly legs! Can Zombo finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zombo fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Kill out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Frank Zombo!
