Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Kaoru Hanayama (ranked 24834 p4p, 4540 weight class) and Lal Hnawka (ranked 274 p4p, 219 weight class). Hanayama comes to the ring accompanied by I Want To Break Free. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaoru Hanayama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lal Hnawka!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hanayama moves into the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hnawka trying to control the position but instead, Hanayama has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hnawka into the ropes.

Hnawka has had enough of the clinch but Hanayama keeps him there for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A close second round but Lal Hnawka will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Hnawka stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Hanayama will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hnawka up against the ropes.
Hnawka misses with a hook to the ribs.
Hanayama unloads a knee to the mid-section. Hnawka lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Hanayama keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hnawka's efforts to push away.

A frustrated look appears on Hnawka's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Hnawka wants to break free but Hanayama has control.
Hnawka is trying to push Hanayama away but Hanayama has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Hanayama keeps control of Hnawka as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Hanayama tries a knee to the head but Hnawka blocks it.

It looks like Lal Hnawka has been cut.

Lal Hnawka is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Hanayama lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kaoru Hanayama showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Hnawka has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
