Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mukesh Paneer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elkir Delfino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delfino misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Delfino looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Delfino throws a combination. Paneer tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Mukesh Paneer has been cut. Paneer throws a right and a left that Delfino avoids nicely. Delfino falls off balance throwing a combination
and Paneer counters with a series of strikes. Delfino will be more careful next time no doubt. A head kick misses from Delfino. Delfino needs to keep his hands up - Paneer had a free shot at his head there. Paneer lands with an overhand left. Delfino throws a combination that misses and Paneer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Paneer. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Delfino manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Paneer manages to get himself to full guard.
Paneer pulls Delfino in close to prevent any damage. Paneer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Delfino on the ground. Delfino trying to control but Paneer is working from the bottom.

Paneer can't keep his opponent in guard - Delfino advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Delfino sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Paneer defending well though. Delfino passes to full mount! Delfino sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Paneer is in all sorts of trouble here.

Paneer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Paneer tries to get out of the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Delfino is going olschool here, as he tries to force Paneer to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Paneer shrugs it off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Delfino throws a combination that misses and Paneer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Delfino tries to land a sweep but no joy. Paneer is in close to Delfino's body, working some short punches and elbows. Paneer postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Delfino controls Paneer momentarily but Paneer frees himself. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
