Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 23453 p4p, 23527 weight class) and Richard John Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard John Salvacion has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 53 - 51 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 51 - 59 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt and Amiga counters with a nice kick to the body. Amiga with a poor takedown and Salvacion counters with a thumping low kick. Amiga takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Salvacion tries for a takedown but Amiga sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga drives through with a takedown into guard. Amiga is fighting to break Salvacion's control of his arms but Salvacion is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga stays in close to Salvacion's body and controls the position. Salvacion working a defensive guard here.
Salvacion controlling Amiga's posture. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Amiga is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Salvacion changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Amiga looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Salvacion working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion taking a breather here. Salvacion working away. Salvacion trying to control the action but Amiga is working from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Amiga's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Amiga is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Salvacion is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Amiga. Salvacion counters with a body kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt and Amiga counters with a head kick. That will keep Salvacion thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kugus Amiga dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Salvacion scores with a spinning back kick! Amiga throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Salvacion was covering up waiting for the punch and Amiga finishes the takedown easily into guard. Salvacion pulls Amiga in close to his closed guard and prevents Amiga from doing any damage or advancing position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga is trying is best to control the position here. Salvacion seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Amiga is doing well to control the position and prevent Salvacion from advancing to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Still in half guard, Salvacion seems content to control. Amiga is controlling Salvacion's trapped leg to prevent Salvacion from advancing to side control. Salvacion content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Amiga is fending him off so far but Salvacion persists. Nope, Amiga circles away and we're back to standing. Amiga is looking to counter with a body kick. No luck with that takedown attempt from Salvacion. Salvacion stuffs the takedown attempt from Amiga. Amiga gets slowly back to his feet. Salvacion counters with a body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Salvacion shoots in and bounces Amiga off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Salvacion looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Richard John Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salvacion is refusing to be controlled, as Amiga sits in half guard. Amiga stops Salvacion from getting back to his feet.
Salvacion is looking to control Amiga's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Salvacion avoid being mounted?

Amiga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Salvacion but Salvacion pushes him off and we're back to square one. Salvacion follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
