Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luk Lui (ranked 4445 p4p, 16101 weight class) and Jimmy Nickels (ranked 417 p4p, 494 weight class). The key to victory for Luk Lui has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lui misses with a looping left.

Nickels has Lui up against the cage in a clinch.

Nickels shoots in looking for a takedown but Lui manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nickels's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Lui throws a nice looking combination but Nickels bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Nickels is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lui sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nickels changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lui tries to avoid it but Nickels manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lui to the ground. Lui escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lui was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Nickels decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lui has a hand on Nickels's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Nickels takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Lui reaches up to try and control the position but Nickels seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Lui rolls and tries to escape and now Nickels has his back!
Lui is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Nickels is landing with strikes. Lui can't take much more of this.

You can see the frustration on Lui's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
