Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Howlett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne McCullough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Wayne McCullough was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Wayne McCullough!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from McCullough does no damage.
Wayne McCullough seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Howlett tries to close the distance and clinch but McCullough swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McCullough misses the shot to the body.
Howlett takes one on the button.
McCullough misses with a low kick as Howlett jumps back.
McCullough throws a right and a left that both miss.
McCullough takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Howlett dodges the punch combination from McCullough.
McCullough misses with an attempted mid kick.
McCullough throws a lazy right hand but Howlett sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Howlett lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Howlett bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McCullough's head.

Howlett keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
McCullough throws a jab when Howlett was well out of range.

Howlett gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
McCullough has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

McCullough has had enough of the clinch but Howlett keeps him there for the moment.
McCullough wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Howlett has him pressed against the cage.
McCullough is trying to stall.
Howlett is struggling to control the position.

Howlett lands a shoulder strike.
McCullough blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
McCullough looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Howlett is leaning against McCullough and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
McCullough blocks a punch to the side of the head.
McCullough has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
McCullough is trying to break the clinch but Howlett has him pressed against the cage.

Still in the clinch, Howlett scores with a nice short uppercut.
McCullough is still on wobbly legs! Can Howlett finish him?
Howlett scores with a shot to the side of McCullough's head.
Howlett unloads with a big right hand that wobbles McCullough! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Howlett is unloading with more strikes now! McCullough drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Howlett!
