The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard misses the shot to the body.
Hedegaard is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Hedegaard shoots in for a double leg but Howard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Howard slips a jab from Hedegaard.
