This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 16 losses; Sardon Heliogabale!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Globe shoots in for a double leg but Heliogabale sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Heliogabale leaves Globe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And Heliogabale tries to counter it with a takedown but Globe pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Globe shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Globe was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Globe (4) vs (0) Heliogabale
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Globe is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Heliogabale is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
