Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Bester (ranked 4237 p4p, 4627 weight class) and Issac Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wade closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bester quickly recovers to half guard.

Bester closes the distance and clinches up with Wade, looking for a takedown. Bester pushes Wade against the cage but Wade circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bester shoots in for a takedown but Wade shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bester lunges at Wade with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wade's hand.
Wade avoids the head kick by Bester.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Wade is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wade decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bester slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Wade lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bester wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Bester has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
